About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at 1011414 BC Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patients receive the care they need.
  • Monitor Patient Health: Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health and well-being.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy, and that all necessary equipment is available and in good working order.
  • Communicate Effectively: Respond to patients' call signals and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide basic first aid in emergency situations, such as administering CPR or using an automated external defibrillator.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Hospital or home for the aged, nursing home/home for the aged.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
