About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adventure Leader to join our team at White Mountain Adventures. As an Outdoor Expedition Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead groups on outdoor adventures, including hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
  • Assemble and prepare equipment and supplies for trips, ensuring that all necessary gear is in good working condition.
  • Prepare and serve meals for groups, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Operate communication devices, including emergency communication equipment, to ensure safe and effective communication with groups and emergency services.
  • Set up and take down camps, ensuring that all camps are safe and secure.
  • Operate GPS and navigation equipment to ensure accurate navigation and route-finding.
  • Provide instruction and guidance on outdoor skills, including wilderness survival, first aid, and outdoor safety.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Wilderness First Aid Certificate and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods and to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with groups and individuals.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
