Overview: The Provincial Health Services Authority is seeking a dedicated Senior Research Scientist to contribute to the field of Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in a comprehensive epidemiological research program focused on cancer etiology.
- Develop innovative prevention strategies aimed at decreasing cancer rates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a robust research environment.
- Contribute to teaching activities at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
- Promote principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion within research and educational frameworks.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of research productivity and a clear vision for an independent research agenda.
- Strong interest in collaborative research initiatives.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentorship.
Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $155,327 to $232,992 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.
