- Storyboard Development: Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions, such as multimedia, interactive, and digital products, and television advertising and productions.
- Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, ensuring their communications needs are met.
- Design Creation: Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, showcasing creativity and technical skills.
- Animation and Illustration: Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations, bringing visual concepts to life.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Production Coordination: Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, ensuring seamless execution.
- Client Communication: Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
- Design Determination: Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
- Design Development: Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives, showcasing creativity and technical expertise.
- Guideline Establishment: Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Design Preparation: Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
- Content Creation: Copywrite and conduct usability testing, ensuring engaging and effective content.
- Administrative Tasks: Process files and paperwork, maintaining a well-organized and efficient workflow.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
