Position Overview:

As a Wealth Management Associate at National Bank, you will harness your entrepreneurial spirit to make a significant impact on clients' financial journeys. This role is pivotal in supporting clients through various life events, guiding them towards achieving their financial aspirations while fostering long-term, trust-based relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and support a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Provide tailored financial solutions to help clients reach their objectives.
  • Collaborate with specialists across different sectors of the Bank to address client needs comprehensively.
  • Establish strong connections with a variety of experts to enhance your advisory capabilities.

Team Dynamics:

National Bank Financial – Wealth Management is recognized as one of Canada's leading mutual funds brokerage firms. With a robust team of investment advisors, you will engage with a wide client base, working alongside investment assistants to build enduring, trust-based relationships. You will receive guidance from the Regional Director to monitor your professional growth and career goals.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (or willingness to complete post-hire).
  • Completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (or willingness to complete post-hire).
  • Financial Planner designation or relevant accreditation is advantageous.
  • Commitment to delivering prompt and effective service to clients.
  • Understanding of taxation principles is a plus.
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt to software and IT systems.
  • Strong skills in maintaining business relationships through virtual communication tools.
