This role is pivotal in managing the renowned Gordie Howe - Bridging North America Project.

Primary Duties

  • Direct and manage the activities of subcontractors and construction teams
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental protocols
  • Facilitate coordination of field engineering and construction efforts
  • Effectively manage construction resources and equipment
  • Identify and resolve intricate construction challenges
  • Provide continuous feedback on design and constructability
  • Formulate and execute corrective measures for any discrepancies
  • Oversee project timelines and financial plans
  • Assess and enhance trade performance
  • Maintain clear communication with all relevant stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior superintendent capacity
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
  • In-depth technical understanding of construction methodologies and regulations
  • Proven capability to manage various subcontractors
  • Extensive knowledge of construction disciplines
