About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and innovative French Teacher to join our team at York House School. As a Teacher on Call, you will be responsible for teaching French to students in Junior and Senior Schools (Gr. 1-12).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French to students in Junior and Senior Schools
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of individual learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education
  • British Columbia Teachers certification or equivalent
  • Familiarity with new BC Curriculum is an asset
  • Elementary / Intermediate / Secondary school qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of Elementary / Intermediate / Secondary teaching experience preferred
  • Independent School experience is an asset
