Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets to meet the needs of our clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of reliability and dependability is essential.
