About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team at Mordecai Schlisser. As a key member of our support team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Care and Support: Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by a physician and maintain accurate records.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our clients reside in a non-smoking environment, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
