Key Responsibilities- Customer Service
- Present menus to customers and make recommendations on food and beverage options.
- Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Ensure that customers have a positive dining experience.
- Food and Beverage Service
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
- Advise customers on menu selections and wine pairings.
- Administrative Tasks
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
- Manage tables and ensure that customers have a clean and comfortable dining experience.
- Security and Safety
- Ensure that all security and safety protocols are followed.
- Report any incidents or concerns to management.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
- Be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Personal Qualities
- Have excellent oral communication skills.
- Be organized and able to multitask.
- Be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience is an asset.
- Language
- English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours
- 40 hours per week.
The Server will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The Server must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
