Job Summary

Gwireless Smart Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables to meet electrical system requirements.
  • Instruct apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge in electrical systems.
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems to ensure reliable electrical supply.
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures to meet modern electrical standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate electrical system design and installation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
