Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in carpentry is considered an asset.

Work Environment

• Setting: The role involves working in construction settings, including residential projects at various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Must be capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Handling heavy loads is a requirement.
• The position is physically demanding and may involve working under tight deadlines.

Tools and Equipment

• Must provide own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat.
