Test Case Writer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Case Writer to join our team at EllisDon. As a Test Case Writer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our Workday implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the project team to identify and document test cases for the EllisDon Workday Implementation
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test reports
  • Develop automated test scripts using various tools and frameworks such as Kainos SMART
  • Collaborate with the Test Lead, Project Leads, and the Implementation Partner to ensure that defects are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas of improvement and implementing best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent practical experience in an ERP test case writing role
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, including experience in test case writing
  • HRIS implementation test writer experience required. Experience with Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, UKG or SAP
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality on schedule
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Hybrid Project methodology is a plus
  • Experience with SmartSheet an asset
