Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals for a temporary merchandising project focused on retail renovations. The role involves various responsibilities aimed at enhancing the shopping experience through effective merchandising strategies.
Compensation:
$21/hour plus vacation pay.
Work Schedule:
This position requires availability during the night, specifically from Sunday to Friday, with shifts running from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing planograms in retail environments.
- Assisting in the renovation of designated store sections.
- Performing general labor tasks as needed.
- Meeting physical demands, including lifting up to 25 kg and remaining on foot throughout the shift.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience is an asset, particularly in grocery or hardware sectors.
- Prior merchandising experience is preferred.
- Ability to comprehend planograms or blueprints is advantageous.
- Must possess a positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills in English.
- Personal protective equipment required includes safety footwear, work gloves, hard hat, and safety vest.
- Candidates must have a reliable means of transportation to the work location, as public transit options may be limited during night shifts.
