Senior Python Developer

ELEKS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team in Poland.
Our customer is a financial technology company that specializes in simplifying and automating finance operations for financial institutions. They offer a solution designed to enhance data management, control, and transparency for product control functions within financial services organizations.
We are looking for a professional with 5+ years of commercial expertise and advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with frameworks like Django or Flask.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall, and experience with designing and implementing complex algorithms and solutions based on technical specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating solutions and algorithms based on technical specifications or requirements
- Understanding software development methodologies like Waterfall and Agile
- Modifying and testing existing code for readability and performance
- Using version control systems to track and manage code changes
- Analyzing, verifying, and debugging software at the unit level
- Developing and performing tests, collecting diagnostic data, and creating test datasets
- Identifying and fixing defects from the defect database
- Ensuring software meets technical requirements and analyzing test results
