We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundsman/Woman to join our team at Royal Tree Service Inc. as an Arborist Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of trees and plants in various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
- Operate chain saws and small engine equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
- Work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and at heights.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset.
- Work site environment: Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
- Work setting: Willingness to work in urban areas and various locations.
- Tasks: Physical stamina to perform tasks that require attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Equipment and machinery experience: Familiarity with chain saws and small engine equipment.
- Security and safety: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Transportation/travel information: Ability to travel to various locations.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Personal suitability: Strong client focus, organized, and reliable.
- Free parking available.
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
