About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at B&D Montessori Learning Academy Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our childcare program and providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), Emergency child care first aid and CPR, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Target Audience: Children aged 0-12 years old.
  • Special Needs Experience: Experience working with children with behavioural issues, allergies, ADHD, or ADD.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Screening Questions: Availability for the advertised start date, legal ability to work in Canada, willingness to relocate, previous experience in the field, and possession of required certifications.

Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.

  • Ability to work with children with special needs.
