Role Summary:
- Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
- Accountable for providing nursing services to adults and seniors within the mental health demographic, adhering to established nursing standards and evidence-based practices.
- Flexibility to work across all shifts is essential.
Required Qualifications:
- Current annual competency certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Ability to operate within the full scope of practice as defined by the CNO, complemented by proficient patient care nursing skills.
- At least one year of experience in an adult mental health environment is mandatory.
- A valid Medication Certificate and recent experience in medication administration are required.
- Completion of a patient physical assessment course is necessary.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- A dependable and adaptable individual who thrives in a collaborative interdisciplinary team setting.
- A solid attendance and work history is crucial.
- Availability to work alternate weekends is required.
