Our company is committed to delivering exceptional investment solutions to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Fund Tax Services team.

Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing tax compliance and financial analysis support to our fund taxation team. This includes ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax filings, as well as providing analysis and recommendations to support business initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tax research and analysis to support fund taxation activities
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tax filings, including provincial sales tax and Canadian income tax returns
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to support business initiatives, such as mergers and rebalancing
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including administrators, CRA, external auditors, and internal departments
  • Continuously develop and improve processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
  • Accounting designation (CPA) or in process
  • Minimum 3 years of fund taxation experience and financial services industry experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
