Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

S & A Sandhu Enterprises Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required.
  • Tarp and secure cargo to ensure safety and security during transportation.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
