Role Overview: The Financial Analysis Specialist will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and analysis to inform management decisions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, operational divisions, and business intelligence units to interpret data and generate insightful analyses.
  • Continuously assess performance metrics, offering insights on discrepancies, engaging with business partners, and ensuring that forecasts are aligned with the most current data to drive informed actions.
  • Prepare detailed business analyses utilizing both financial and operational data.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of critical performance indicators (KPIs) to support the organization through regular reporting.
  • Act as a Power BI and Power Query expert, providing support to various business lines and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of processes and tools aimed at improving quality, reliability, and efficiency in report preparation.
  • Strengthen data analysis capabilities through targeted ad hoc analyses of financial and operational metrics.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in accounting, business, or finance is required.
  • A strong interest in financial analysis, transformation, and problem-solving is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, Power Pivot, and Power Query, along with experience in data cubes and forecasting methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Fluency in both English and French is necessary.
