About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Strategist to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our Student Life Programs & Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting students across the St. George Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver multi-layered learning and study strategy support for students
  • Provide advanced study and learning strategy support to students
  • Advising students on the development of their educational plans
  • Conducting a detailed analysis of student feedback and learning outcomes to inform program planning activities
  • Developing student assessment plans to support student learning outcomes and competencies
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a related program of study or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum four years experience in academic support in a multi-disciplinary setting to undergraduate and graduate students at the university-level
  • Must be an experienced and recognized facilitator of groups
  • Must have instructional or teaching experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate success in facilitating partnerships with constituents from a variety of institutional areas
Assets
  • Certification in Learning Strategies, Coaching, or Supplemental Instruction
  • Experience with E-learning
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the learning needs of students with disabilities
