POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Process Analyst plays a pivotal role in significant initiatives and projects spearheaded by the client-facing team, concentrating on the evaluation of devices manufactured with state-of-the-art semiconductor processing technologies. Drawing from extensive experience and knowledge in semiconductor logic technology, you will perform lithography evaluations and emulate process flows, utilizing insights from device architecture, layout, material assessments, and critical dimensions acquired through reverse engineering methodologies. Alongside technical evaluations and report generation, you will be instrumental in tracking technological trends, ensuring our team remains at the cutting edge of innovation within the semiconductor field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Expertise in Semiconductor Process Evaluation Formulate process flows and create process flow emulations. Execute measurements of critical dimensions. Annotate images based on findings from reverse engineering. Compile detailed reports reflecting analysis results. Comparative Analysis of Results Contrast findings across various generations and foundries. Develop technical articles explaining the contextual relevance of analysis results. Create video presentations outlining the current status and future outlook of semiconductor processing for logic devices. Mentorship and Guidance for Analysts Offer guidance and mentorship to fellow analysts, assisting in the assessment of reverse engineering outcomes. Support broader project teams by providing insights on technological trends, process/materials analysis, research, and documentation. Address client inquiries related to published reports. QUALIFICATIONS Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (Physics, Electrical, Chemical Sciences, etc.) Profound understanding of semiconductor devices, quantum physics, and channel/junction engineering. Alongside your academic credentials, a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a foundry in at least one of the following areas: Semiconductor unit processes and associated equipment including Photolithography, Plasma Etching, Diffusion/CVD/Metal, ion implantation, CMP, and wet cleaning. Proficiency in interpreting results from analytical techniques including SEM, TEM, EDS, EELS, SIMS, FTIR, Raman, SRP, and understanding the limitations and advantages of each method. Familiarity with semiconductor transistor/die/wafer/package level testing, quality control, and six sigma methodologies, SPC, and DOE. Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to manage multiple information sources. Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills. Acknowledged as a technical authority within the organization. Proactively identifies internal and external business challenges, vendor, and/or regulatory issues; recommends enhancements to processes, products, or services.
