Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead for Android Development to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, direction, and guidance to the team and clients. Your expertise in Android development will be instrumental in driving the success of our mobile service offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction to the team and clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Design and Architecture: Facilitate design and architecture discussions to ensure that solutions meet the needs of our clients and are scalable and maintainable.
  • Mobile Solutions: Develop creative, innovative, and practical mobile solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Estimation and Prototyping: Estimate, task, and prototype mobile applications to ensure that they meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Code Development: Contribute clear and maintainable code to a shared codebase.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional team members on features, design, and implementation.
  • Requirements Clarification: Clarify requirements with team and client representatives to ensure that solutions meet their needs.
  • Technology and Process Adoption: Investigate, learn, and apply new technologies and processes to improve our development capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience leading the development and release of native mobile applications with Android.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience and expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Development Tools: Experience working with Android Studio or other mobile IDE.
  • Architecture: Strong understanding of MVVM.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with different stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • User Experience: Knowledgeable and interested in User Experience best practices and design.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience leading and mentoring other developers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Development: Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development, such as testing, continuous integration, project rooms, pair programming, etc.
  • Front-end Development: Fluent and current in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Multi-platform Development: Experience developing and releasing a native mobile application in iOS, React Native, Ionic, or Flutter.
  • Social Network APIs: Experience with Social Network APIs such as Google APIs, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Distributed Version Control: Experience with distributed version control.
  • App Store Release: Experience releasing to Google Play Console or iTunes App Store.
