About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Baker who is eager to take on new challenges and contribute to our team's success. As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and range of our bread meets our high standards, while also providing excellent customer service and supporting the bakery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with other Bakers and the Production Lead to maintain the highest standards of bread quality and delivery.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers by adhering to our brand standards and protocols.
  • Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for our customers.
  • Support the bakery team, demonstrate teamwork, and foster positive working relationships.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in baking and customer service is preferred, but not essential as we offer comprehensive training.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including overnight or early morning shifts, as a COBS Bread Baker typically starts work between 2am and 6am.
  • Must be able to lift 25kg.
  • Current Manitoba Food Handlers Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required.
