Forge Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the automation and manufacturing industry, particularly in the automotive sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools, including SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM (the vault) and other relevant CAD software at expert level, is a MUST.
  • 3D Modelling and designing automation equipment (preferably in plastics) for the automotive industry is a MUST.
