About the Role

Pave-Al Limited is seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and repairs to our fleet of heavy equipment, including light vehicles, heavy trucks, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and rectify problems with equipment, both on-site and on-road
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Document daily service activities and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
  • 310T or 310S License (or apprentice)
  • Valid G license
  • Experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Possess own set of tools
  • Comfortable working outdoors in any season
  • Available to work nights and weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • DZ license, an asset
  • Experience in heavy construction equipment, an asset
  • Roadside service experience
  • Experience with diagnostic software and electronic document/time keeping
  • Welding and fabrication experience
