Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team at Seequent. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using a range of programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain stable backend services, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgresQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of best practices related to coding and API design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and services offered by hyperscale cloud providers.
  • Experience with agile development processes, frameworks, and practices.
  • Knowledge of latest security and compliance requirements in software products.
