Electrical Utility Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Utility Project Manager to join our team at Black & McDonald Limited (Atlantic Region). As a key member of our Utility Department, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project estimates, schedules, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the electrical or construction industry.
  • Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Office, JD Edwards, and Accubid estimating software.
  • Procore PM software certification.
