The Detail Shop and Cleaning Centre is seeking a dedicated Automotive Corrosion Prevention Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring the longevity and protection of vehicles through effective rustproofing techniques.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
- Expect a noisy atmosphere with potential odours from various materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate equipment to spray or coat vehicles effectively.
- Regularly clean and maintain tools and machinery.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is required.
- Experience with inhibiting coatings for automobiles and trucks.
- Proficient in using hand-held spray guns and metal spray equipment.
- Prior experience in the automobile and trucking industry is essential.
- A criminal record check will be conducted.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Must have manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Must be organized, reliable, and a team player.
- Work hours range from 30 to 42 hours per week.
- This is a permanent position.
