Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Millwright responsible for the installation and maintenance of heavy machinery. This role involves visiting client facilities and representing our company with professionalism and respect. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing installations and infrastructure
  • Enhance mechanical systems
  • Fabricate components as necessary
  • Diagnose and resolve breakdowns in production equipment
  • Install and commission new machinery
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment modifications and retrofitting
  • Document and maintain records for work and purchase orders
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
  • Develop and implement a predictive maintenance strategy
  • Adhere to safe work practices and health and safety regulations
  • Be available for overtime, work outside regular hours, and on-call duties as required by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright
  • Experience in the Agriculture or Aggregates sector is an asset
  • Proficiency in welding is required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with a proactive approach
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collective success
  • Ability to identify potential issues beyond immediate customer needs
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and conditions, with a capacity to manage complexity
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
