Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Millwright responsible for the installation and maintenance of heavy machinery. This role involves visiting client facilities and representing our company with professionalism and respect. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain existing installations and infrastructure
- Enhance mechanical systems
- Fabricate components as necessary
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns in production equipment
- Install and commission new machinery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment modifications and retrofitting
- Document and maintain records for work and purchase orders
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
- Develop and implement a predictive maintenance strategy
- Adhere to safe work practices and health and safety regulations
- Be available for overtime, work outside regular hours, and on-call duties as required by the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright
- Experience in the Agriculture or Aggregates sector is an asset
- Proficiency in welding is required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with a proactive approach
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collective success
- Ability to identify potential issues beyond immediate customer needs
- Adaptability to changing priorities and conditions, with a capacity to manage complexity
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
