About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Delfresh Mushroom Farm Ltd. as a key member of our crop farming operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hand harvesting vegetables and other crops
  • Picking row and orchard crops
  • Cleaning the work area
  • Loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, and farm produce
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. The ability to distinguish between colours and manual dexterity are essential.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work at heights, in wet/damp conditions, and with odours
  • Own transportation required, with public transportation not available
Working Conditions

The Harvesting Labourer will work in a rural area, with a 40-60 hour workweek and overtime required. The role involves handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight and requires the use of steel-toed safety boots.
