Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) is seeking dynamic Interns to join our growing Canadian group. As a Civil/Structural Intern, you will be part of our rapidly expanding Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, hydro, and dams disciplines.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our pursuit and project civil/structural/roadway/hydro and dam engineering design work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop their skills, and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of design deliverables, including collaborating with engineers and designers/drafters
  • Participate in the development of internal tools and processes
  • Gather market intelligence and contribute to the growth of our multidisciplinary engineering team
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Available for full-time work for a 4-month internship period
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
