- Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads to expand the customer base.
- Pricing Strategy: Assist in determining pricing structures for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports as required.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to a diverse range of prospective clients.
- Marketing Coordination: Align sales efforts with ongoing marketing initiatives.
- Company Promotion: Understand and advocate for company programs and initiatives.
- Contract Preparation: Prepare and submit sales contracts for customer orders.
- Client Visits: Visit clients and potential clients to assess needs and promote products and services.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Client Inquiries: Address client inquiries regarding terms, products, pricing, and availability.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have received a satisfactory performance appraisal.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
- At least one (1) year of experience as an Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager for Sherwin-Williams.
- Experience conducting outside sales calls.
- Associate degree in business, sales, or marketing.
- Prior experience selling paint and related products.
- Familiarity with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.
