About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at D-TECH DIESEL REPAIR LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices in performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Help with cleaning machines and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in tasks such as moving tools and equipment, and handling heavy loads.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and handling heavy loads.
  • Own transportation to and from work.
Work Environment

As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians. You will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

What We Offer
