We are seeking a skilled Tailoring Professional to join our team at MAHAJAN CANADA LIMITED. This role involves creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments that meet the unique specifications of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Garment Creation: Construct made-to-measure clothing according to client and production specifications.
- Hat Production: Layout, cut, sew, and press materials to produce hats.
- Fur Alterations: Make, modify, or redesign fur garments and accessories.
- Sewing Techniques: Operate sewing machines or perform hand sewing as needed.
- Pattern Selection: Choose and adjust commercial patterns to fit client and manufacturer specifications.
- Custom Design: Create patterns tailored to specific measurements.
- Fabric Handling: Mark, cut, and sew fabric with precision.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience ranging from 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work will be conducted primarily in English.
- Working hours will range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
