About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Janet Adeola Isola. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Depreciation and Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of assets.
  • Journal Entry Posting: Post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
