Senior Java (Springboot) Developer

S I Systems is in search of a Senior Java (Springboot) Developer to contribute to a premier Foreign Exchange (Fx) Capital Markets application for a leading financial institution.

Position Overview: This role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring presence in the office a couple of times a week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Software Development Expertise: Proficient in Java (Spring, Springboot), J2EE, Web services/APIs (REST), jUnit, Swagger, and Cybase
  • Build Tools: Familiarity with Ant, Maven, and Gradle
  • Version Control: Experience with GIT
  • Continuous Integration: Skilled in utilizing CI and automated testing tools
  • Agile Methodology: Background in working within Agile frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Typescript/React is advantageous
  • Experience with Message Batch processing
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets, particularly in Fx/Foreign Exchange, is a plus
