Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Compulsion Games, a first-party game studio and subsidiary of Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and polish of our games.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases for assigned areas
  • Provide constructive feedback on systems, features, and overall game quality
  • Act as a subject matter expert for areas of ownership and proactively identify opportunities to drive quality forward
  • Assist other members of the quality assurance team
  • Create and follow-up on test suites executed by QC teams
  • Stay aware of issues history and overall quality issues for assigned areas
  • Develop recommendations to improve the development process
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in game or software quality assurance
  • Excellent understanding of database and bug-tracking software (Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.)
  • Experience designing and managing reusable test cases and test suites (TestRail)
  • Experience with coordinating test runs
  • Experience with documenting processes and new testing procedures (Confluence)
  • Passion for video games and interactive storytelling
  • Passion for game quality assurance and testing (testing methods, testing types, etc.)
