Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team in British Columbia. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering our residential energy affordability program, working closely with residents to understand their energy needs and providing personalized recommendations for energy-saving upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residential homes to recommend energy-saving upgrades, including new appliances, insulation, and HVAC systems, in accordance with program guidelines.
- Advise participants on energy-saving tips and best practices.
- Install energy-saving products, such as light bulbs and aerators.
- Utilize company-provided vehicles for travel throughout British Columbia, with flexible options available.
- Participate in overnight and seasonal travel as required, with daily per diem provided.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in energy evaluations and installing energy-saving kits.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with energy conservation programs.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Building science and home inspection experience an asset.
- Construction/building envelope courses an asset.
- HVAC experience and F280 knowledge an asset.
Compensation
The targeted compensation range for this position is $27-$31 per hour, with a maximum hourly rate of $42.84 CAD. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
