Amber is seeking a skilled Localization QA Tester to join our team in Montreal. As a Localization QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our games in Spanish (Spain). We offer training for those without prior experience.

Your Mission:
  • Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Spanish (Spain).
  • Identify translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles.
  • Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner.
  • Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content.
  • Follow and respect terminology guidelines.
  • Cross-check issues between different languages with your team.
  • Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead.
  • Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead.
You Will Need:
  • Native-level language competency in Spanish (Spain).
  • Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada.
Your Skills:
  • Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Professional competency in English.
