Job Title: IBM i Programmer Analyst

R2i is seeking a skilled IBM i Programmer Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for production follow-ups, analysis, and resolution of production incidents, as well as actively participating in the development of improvements and projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evolve and maintain existing systems
  • Develop technical analyses
  • Implement improvements and projects
  • Write and execute unit and integrated test specifications
  • Write and update documentation
  • Analyze submitted issues and suggest fixes
  • Provide remote support outside of normal working hours
  • Apply best practices in software development
Required Profile:
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer systems, information, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical programming experience on IBM iSeries, AS400, RPG IV, RPGLE, CLP, SQL, Database: DB2 for i
  • Knowledge of Maestro ERP is an asset
  • Experience with XML, HTML, and JavaScript is beneficial
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to make complex information accessible
  • Ability to work in both French and English (spoken and written)
