Roofing Field Assessment Specialist

As an independent contractor, you will join our vibrant field team, conducting evaluations on steep and elevated roofs, assessing both exterior and interior damages, and executing underwriting property inspections. By leveraging advanced technology, our inspectors play a crucial role in evaluating property damage and mitigating further risks until permanent repairs are finalized.

Please note: This is a 1099 Subcontractor role.

Ideal Candidates will possess:

  • Capability to safely navigate and inspect various roof types, particularly steep and elevated roofs
  • Technical proficiency to conduct inspections in diverse weather conditions
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Empathy in interactions with insured clients
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in roofing, construction, or insurance claims is advantageous but not mandatory

Requirements:

  • Must have a dependable Truck, Van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32' ladder
  • Ability to complete inspection documentation using an IANS-approved device
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams
  • HAAG Certification is beneficial
  • Willingness to obtain any necessary certifications or credentials to join our contractor network
