Position Overview:

Role Summary: As a Senior Product Manager overseeing product launches, you will be instrumental in introducing new aesthetic neurotoxins and expanding existing indications into the marketplace. Your responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive management of product launches, from the initial concept phase through to commercialization. This position demands a profound understanding of the aesthetic sector, exceptional project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Launch Strategy Development:
    • Create and implement detailed product launch strategies.
    • Establish go-to-market approaches, including target audience identification, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
    • Work in partnership with marketing, sales, regulatory, global commercial development, medical affairs, and other departments to ensure cohesive execution.
  2. Market Research and Insights:
    • Determine requirements for market research to grasp customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics, collaborating closely with market research teams for execution.
    • Evaluate data to guide product positioning and launch strategies.
    • Spot opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
  3. Project Coordination:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to guarantee timely and effective product launches.
    • Develop and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Track project progress and address any challenges or risks that may arise.
  4. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all products comply with regulatory standards and requirements.
    • Collaborate with regulatory affairs to secure necessary approvals and certifications.
  5. Customer Engagement:
    • Incorporate the voice of the customer in decision-making processes related to launches.
    • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to collect feedback and insights.
    • Build and sustain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
    • Provide training and support to sales teams and customers.
  6. Product Lifecycle Oversight:
    • Monitor product performance and gather feedback post-launch.
    • Identify areas for enhancement and collaborate with global commercial development to implement improvements.
Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
  • A proven history of successfully launching medical devices or related products.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance within the medical device industry.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the capability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
