Job Title: Memory Care Manager

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Memory Care team, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and engaging programs to our residents with dementia and cognitive impairment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and orient new residents, ensuring a smooth transition to their new home
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Memory Care service team members
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and staff hours within the Memory Care department
  • Recruit, hire, and train care staff, empowering them to work to their full potential
  • Plan and implement a structured daily activity program in accordance with Seasons' guidelines
  • Support and respond to resident and family inquiries and concerns
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle for residents, ensuring person-centered care at Seasons
  • Ensure compliance with Resident Assessments/Service Plans (PCC) and follow Seasons and RHRA Regulations
Requirements:
  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification
  • Progressive or supervisory experience in dementia care or cognitive impairment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills in relation to the healthcare sector
  • Strong leadership skills in promoting exceptional care of Seasons' Memory Care residents
  • Ability to create meaningful programs and activities for our Memory Care Residents
  • Successful completion of post-secondary diploma in dementia care, gerontology, kinesiology, or rehabilitation from a recognized educational institution
  • Class G driver's license with a clear driver's abstract
