Our Integrated Engineering Design (IED) group provides comprehensive engineering solutions to institutional, industrial, residential, and commercial clients. We specialize in transit, telecom, waste management, higher education, and food/beverage facilities, offering reliable and cost-effective infrastructure for new and retrofit solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design process from feasibility to completion, collaborating closely with clients on major projects.
  • Perform detailed electrical design work and review the output of junior designers, directing the CAD team for drawing preparation and review.
  • Prepare written reports based on building electrical assessments and audits.
  • Develop written tender documents and technical specifications, evaluating products and contractor proposals to make award recommendations.
  • Work with management to develop business strategies for new clients and growth areas in electrical engineering.
  • Assist with proposal preparation and client outreach to expand business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • P.Eng. registration in Canada.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Consulting Engineering Industry.
  • Expert proficiency in Canadian building codes and design standards.
  • Experience in building upgrades/renovations, new building design, data center design, energy audits, condition assessments, LEED certified projects, and lighting design.
  • Business acumen, focusing on client relationships, new project development, and meeting client needs.
  • Mentorship ability and interest in developing technical capabilities of junior staff.
