Position Overview

The Director of Strategic Policy and Communications plays a pivotal role within the Senior Management Committee of the Department. This position is responsible for overseeing the Division and ensuring the effective development of strategic plans for transportation systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the formulation of departmental business plans and policies.
- Manage internal and external communications, including services related to official languages.
- Facilitate public access to information and oversee research and development initiatives.
- Foster intergovernmental relations and administer the Community Access program.
- Provide strategic counsel to the Deputy Minister.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant post-secondary degree in fields such as Public Administration, Law, or Planning, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of pertinent experience, including at least four (4) years in a managerial capacity.
