About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Installation and Repair Specialist to join our team at Augmented Networks Inc. as a Telecommunications Equipment Technician. As a Switch Network Installation and Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications central offices and switching centers.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching system, network, associated equipment, and software.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain test and service reports.
  • Work Assignments: Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and repair.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
