About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at TECHINI SYSTEMS INC. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of our computer networks, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support to employees experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • System Monitoring: Regularly monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up and configure equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents and troubleshoot problems, working closely with the IT team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Data Backup: Perform regular backup procedures to ensure data preservation and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of networking software and hardware, including Shell script, TCP/IP, and wireless networks. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security Clearance: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Work Conditions: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
