We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Niagara Industrial Maintenance Ltd. as a key member of our fabrication department.

• Operate and maintain manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to industry standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals to determine the best welding techniques and materials for each project.
• Conduct quality control checks on welds to ensure they meet our rigorous standards and specifications.
• Operate flame-cutting equipment and oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) to precision-cut metal components.
• Determine the weldability of various materials and develop strategies to overcome any challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest welding techniques and technologies to continuously improve our fabrication processes.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
• Ability to work in an urban area and adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent team player with a permanent work commitment.
• Fluency in English language.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
